Yatzil Elizalde

Since moving to Los Angeles, everything changed. Kat Von D invited me to work at her studio — and that opened doors I hadn’t even imagined. I later joined Ganga Tattoo Studio in West Hollywood, where I’m based today.

I specialize in fine line, black and grey, and the style I’m best known for: the blurry effect — a technique I created myself, where I layer the same design two or three times with a slight offset to create an optical illusion of double or blurred vision. I’m proud to call myself a pioneer of this style. My art has reached places I never imagined — from Japan to Australia.

I’ve had the privilege of tattooing Lil Uzi Vert, Anthony Davis, Jake Paul, Rita Ora, Taika Waititi, Tyga, Swae Lee, Mike WiLL Made-It, Mario Worldwide and Mauricio Ochmann, among others.

My work has been featured in Business Insider, My Modern Met, Bored Panda, Oddity Central, Nuebo, Voyage LAand Shoutout LA — and in 2025 I was the cover artist of Tattoo Life Magazine, one of the most respected publications in the industry worldwide. In 2024 I was invited as an official judge at the Hong Kong Tattoo Expo.
